Taylor presented with a common problem of missing her lateral incisors. She was too young to pursue dental implants and using a traditional dental bridge would damage her perfectly healthy and natural teeth. We have seen overly aggressive treatments when dentists cut down patients’ teeth in these kinds of cases. Preserving your natural tooth structure should be the first priority! An alternative and conservative bridge technique was used to preserve her own teeth, which keeps her options open for the future. A “Maryland” bonded bridge was bonded in place to replace her congenitally missing lateral incisors.
