"Price Point" Dentistry

, "Price Point" DentistryI’ve had several inquiries about the cost of dentistry.  As an adult in my 50’s, I’ve required many dental procedures myself and surely more coming in my future.  I’ve needed some extensive dentistry and not once did I choose a dentist to serve my dental needs because they were the “cheapest.”  I should preface that with the fact we are very aware of trying to be competitive with our fees.  They are not arbitrarily chosen.  At Freeman Smiles, we first choose the materials and techniques that are not only proven to be effective, safe and have a track record for success but we want to provide what I would want in my own mouth or for my own family and friends.  I’m not looking for “off brands” to cut costs.  I’m not looking for the most expensive, but to be honest, cost has very little with our initial choice in materials.  It comes into play when we finally purchase in the form of buying in bulk to help save or we might look for a deal to help keep our fees reasonable, but we choose the best for those people that are trusting me to provide quality services.  I’ve seen the failures from other dentists that try to cut corners and it’s usually catastrophic and ends up uncomfortable and expensive for patients having to have that failed dentistry replaced.
Long story short, it’s your body.  Do you want to cut corners, use off brand products, take short cuts or use inferior approaches to your health care in order to have the cheapest services?  We provide warranties because we are just the opposite of that approach.
Choosing the kind of dentistry for your family is not an apples to apples comparison when price shopping.  We want to earn your trust and to do that, we want your dentistry to be comfortable, successful and not need to be replaced anytime soon.
